"Give not from a well that is empty.... Give from a well that is overflowing."
-Ancient Sufi prayer

Jasmine Johnson-Kennedy (RYT- 200 Kripalu Yoga Teacher, Reiki Practitioner) invites you to dive deep into your inner wisdom, to approach the body with compassion, to observe the self with out judgement, to open to the presence of healing energy, and to live gracefully and with gratitude in the present moment.  Jasmine is a skillful, compassionate teacher and a natural healer who brings a sense of awe and joy to the exploration of living an embodied human life. She is fascinated with the interface between the energetic and the physical body, and how thought, emotion and memory manifest within this framework. She sees the body as a means for spiritual healing, artistic expression, and a source of deep wisdom.
Jasmine has been practicing yoga for nearly a decade and looks forward to a lifetime of the inquiry, dialogue and relationship that is a practice of yoga.  She realized she had "magic hands" at a young age, and has recently welcomed the practice of Reiki as a modality to share healing energy.

Jasmine's mission is to provide wellness education and personal empowerment for profound healing, growth and transformation through the healing modalities of Reiki and Yoga.

In her yoga classes, Jasmine focuses on energetic and anatomical alignment, breath and the individuality of each student. Her classes are accessible and appropriate for beginners as well as for those interested in deepening their dialogue with their bodies. She invites her students to learn to listen to the deep wisdom within through practices of breath, awareness and mindful meditation.    Her  yoga classes include asana, pranayama, meditation, spiritual philosophy, and some bio-physiology. Her mindfulness-based approach to yoga translates into the “life asanas” we all experience off the mat.

She has an extensive background in movement for the theatre, dance, butoh, and a bit of martial arts. She has worked as both a movement director and a choreographer.

She is honored and humbled to have worked with such teachers as Brahmani Leibman and Jashoda Edmunds, SarahJoy Marsh, Maya Salganek, Kara Golux, and Susanne Lyle.  She has also studied energy healing with Ray Crist and Debra Chestnut and received her Level II Reiki from Sudevi Burich.

She is a fiber artist who lives on an off-grid homestead 20 miles out of town with her husband and her husky.  She blogs about this off-grid life at www.bunchberryfarm.blogspot.com
